Tessa began her counseling path at Boston College where she completed a Master’s
Degree in Counseling Psychology. While there her internship included training in
Cooperative Play Therapy and from that time her love of play therapy blossomed.
Tessa uses the framework of play therapy to enter into kid’s lives and help them
make peace with painful and scary emotions arising from anxiety, depression,
trauma, and difficult life transitions. Tessa is also skilled in working with families
and individuals of all ages to help support the healing process.
Tessa has worked with clients in a variety of settings as both a practitioner and a
supervisor. This breadth of experience has shown her that every person’s path to
healing is unique and also shown her how to adapt her style and interventions to
give her clients the support they need to find their healing path, however it looks.
Tessa finds joy in combining her experience and training to support her clients on
their journey towards health and happiness.
